Metal Mesh Pre Filter
Washable Metal Mesh Filters Are Used in Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Oem Applications.
Metal Mesh Filters are made using an Aluminum Mesh Pad comprised of Multiple Layers of expanded Aluminum Foil that is expanded in different widths and bonded together to make a pad. The layers, being expanded at different widths, create a baffling effect as the air passes through the Filter providing Better Filtration of Airborne Particulates.
Good Filter Company Also Adds either 1 or 2 Layers of Heavy Duty Expanded Aluminum (for Standard Duty Filters) or Galvanized Steel (For Heavy Duty Filters) to one or both sides of the filter, as well as a heavier duty aluminum frame (for Standard Duty filters) or galvanized steel frame (for Heavy Duty Filters) for added strength and durability. Galvanized steel frames and expanded Galvanized Steel (Heavy Duty Filters) should be used in unusually heavy loading or harsh conditions
Residential Applications Include Range Hood and Under Microwave Grease Filters, Heating and Air Conditioning Primary Filters and Pre Filters For Portable and Duct Mounted Electronic Air Cleaners.
Commercial Applications Include Make-up Air Filters in Heating and Air Conditioning Equipment, Pre-Filters for Air Cleaning Equipment, Vent Filters and Filters That will be exposed to outside weather conditions as well as other Applications where a Durable, cleanable, Reusable Filter is needed.
Industrial Uses include the above Applications and include Air Compressor Filters, Vacuum Equipment Filters, Welding particulate control equipment, oil or water mist filters and other areas and equipment where a more Durable Filter is Required.
OEM Applications include all the above applications. Metal Mesh Filters also make excellent electromagnetic interrupt (emi) Filters in Electronic Enclosure cabinets and other Applications Where EMI Filters are Appropriate
